OBIT: Helen Pauline (Hendershot) Brink (Fenelton)
Helen Pauline (Hendershot) Brink, 94 of Fenelton, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 12, 1921 in Sherrett to Charles and Jennie (Rickel) Hendershot.
Helen was a homemaker, secretary and business owner.
Helen was a member of Sherrett United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and baking.
Helen is survived by her five sons: Jerry Brink of Worthington, Daniel (Shannon) Brink of Tennessee, Robert (Terri) Brink of Worthington, William (Jerilnn) Brink of Worthington and Richard (John) Brink of Ohio; three daughters: Edith Brink (Phillip) Dailey of Fenelton, Patricia Brink (Rich) Miller of Kittanning and Linda Brink Hooks of Worthington; four sisters: Erma Johnson of Butler, Jean Dauntless of Portland, Ore., Betty Aspelin of Butler and Mary Sagrati of Cowansville; brother, Harold Hendershot of Cowansville; nine granddaughters: Brenda Brink Bush, Deborah Brink Lobato, Mary Brink Lobato, Julia A. Walker, Dawn Marie (Robert) Sloan, Jennifer (Jeff) Reedy, Crystal (Rich) Cypher, Jamie Klingensmith and Lisa (Mike) Peat; eight grandsons: Robert (Mary Beth) Brink, Lawrence (Wendy) Brink, David Laird, James Brink, William H. Brink, Jason (Tracey) Brink, Gary Walker, Jr., and Cody Kilgore; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence James Brink; two daughters: Karen Lorraine Brink and Darlene Ruth Brink; infant son, Lawrence James Brink, Jr.; granddaughter, Dannette Griswold; five brothers: Harry, Raymond, Herbert, Charles Hendershot and an infant brother; sister, June Hendershot Polanec; and two daughters-in-law: Jean (Duke) Brink and Rosalie (Grates) Brink.
Friends will be received from 7-9PM Friday, November 27, 2015 and 2-4 and 7-9PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville.
Additional visitation will be offered from noon until the time of funeral services at 1PM Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the funeral home.
The Reverend Debbie Marshall will be officiating.
Interment will be in Sherrett Cemetery.
