None Injured in Elderton 3-Car Crash
A crash occurred last Friday afternoon in Elderton at the intersection between SR422 and Saltwork Street.
47-year-old Crystal Corson of Butler approached the traffic light at the intersection and was unable to stop her 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt. She then struck the rear end of the 2011 Ford Explorer stopped at the traffic light, which was driven by 28-year-old Leanne Smith of Elderton. The crash then caused Smith to rear end a 1999 Honda Accord in front of her, driven by 19-year-old Elizabeth Hartzel of Butler.
No one involved in the crash was injured. Corson’s driver-side airbag deployed on impact.
Corson will be cited for following too closely.
