OBIT: Grace Cecchi (Kittanning)
Grace (Bowser) Cecchi, 84, of Kittanning, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at home.
She was born on August 25, 1930 in Kittanning, a daughter of Dwight and Electa (Luna) Bowser. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking. She enjoyed helping her loved ones because she was a devoted mother and friend.
Grace is survived by her daughters: Electa (Christian) Zanetti, Mary Anne (Robert) Snyder, and Sharon (Les) Godot; sons: Larry (Carol) Cecchi and Jerry (Ila Steffey) Cecchi; and sister: Violet (Joe) Minesky. She especially loved her grandchildren: Carianne, Aimee, Jennifer, Matthew, Nathan, Lisa, Angelina, Allison, Rachelle, Jenea. She also had 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband: Mario Anthony Cecchi; and 7 brothers and sisters: Lena Chilcott, Velma Cox, Nancy Gaboski, Macey Bowser, John Bowser, William Bowser, and Audley Bowser.
Private services were held at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning on Saturday, February 28, 2015 with the Reverend John Snyder officiating.
