John C. “Big Show” Eckert Jr., 30, of Kittanning, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, at ACMH Hospital.
He was born February 24, 1985, in Rochester, New York to John C. Eckert, Sr. and Cassie Mills.
“Big Show” was a contractor.
He enjoyed drawing, writing poetry and songs and football.
Family and friends will always remember his sense of humor and ability to make people laugh.
John, Jr. is survived by his mother, Cassie (Joe) Mills, of White Haven, Pa.; father, John Eckert Sr. (Michelle), of Dansville, New York; three children: LeLand, Averi and MaKenna; brother, Luke Emerson, of Livingston County, New York, sister, Takara Thomas, of Rural Valley; two nephews: Cole and Aiden; sister, Joli Mills, of White Haven, Pa.; brother, Joseph Eckert, of Livingston County, New York; grandmother, Lora Eckert, of Rochester, New York; and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Hernandez; and grandfather, Joseph Sage Sr.
Friends will be received from 6-9PM tomorrow - Friday, October 16, 2015 - in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Cub Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home Inc., 200 South McKean St., Kittanning, PA 16201 to help offset funeral expenses.
