BENNETT: Get to Know Tom Wolf
by Jack Bennett
Are you really going to vote for Tom Wolf? Haven’t you gotten enough of the “yes, we can” slogans without knowing what “yes, we can” is all about? Haven’t you had enough of the “change” that has just about taken away every right you had ? Or are you buying that “utopia” program one more time? Isn’t Corbett doing exactly what he said needed done and that he would do it? Or, is it the fact that you might have to help pay for some of the corrections needed because of the Rendell spending programs?
Let’s take a closer look at Mr. Wolf. (Source: wikipedia.org) His ads make him appear as one of us, when in reality he is a well financed politician, having served as Secretary of Revenue for Governor Rendell and as a board member on a Legislative Commission on Urban Schools for Governor Casey. It is worth noting that Wolf’s professional relationship with Rendell is well known. Wolf’s contribution of $200,000 to Rendell’s campaign couldn’t have hurt either.A lesser know fact is that he had committed 10 million dollars of his own money for the primary campaign. (Meet Tom Wolf, PoliticsPA)
If he spends his money so easily, what do you think he will do with your money?
We do not have an income problem in this state, we have a spending problem.
Now let’s take a look at Mr. Wolf on gun control. (source: FOAC information sheet)
The following is just a sample of his responses to a questionnaire from “CeaseFire Pennsylvania:
• Enact Pennsylvania “assault weapons” ban
• Supports Renew federal “assault weapons” ban
• Supports Surrendering/confiscating Firearms
• Supports allowing local authorities to enact their own laws regulating firearms
• Supports licensing of gun owners to buy ammunition
Will Pennsylvania residents face what Connecticut, Massachusetts and Colorado citizens face? Will law abiding citizens be turned into felons by a Wolf administration pen?
Will we have our right to protect ourselves and our families made meaningless by bureaucrats? Governor Corbett refused to give any credence to CeaseFire’s questionnaire by refusing to even respond.
And let’s not forget the wonderful education program knows as “common core” that is actually Obama care for education. We don’t need or want that program.
The gubernatorial election is this fall. The choice is yours. We already have one gun hating politician in high places of our state (the Attorney General) Do you/we want another ? Only you can stop this madness about guns and force a real solution of addressing society’s ills.
Remember, all that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men and women to stand by and do nothing.
The views expressed are those of the author.

When unions realize that it is the conservatives that provide the work opportunities, maybe they’ll switch their voting practices. A union coal miner that voted for Obama, effectively voted himself out of a job.
Pat Toomey is also anti-gun. Please keep that in mind.
Tom Wolf hasn’t met a tax that he didn’t like, and we all pay taxes, more and more taxes, everyone - democrats, republicans, unions, non-union, everyone. A vote for Tom Wolf is an approval to tax yourself more.

I love using Wikipedia when looking up info about a movie or such but it should never be used as a source in any research of any kind.

It would be interesting to know which rights Jack thinks we have lost. I can still vote, own a gun, speak freely, worship in church. I haven’t lost any rights.
It would be interesting to know which rights Jack thinks he lost.
Tom Wolf made some money. Isn’t that the American dream? But in Jack’s mind it is evil. Say what?
Despite Jack’s assertions he probably has more guns today than he did six years ago. The only gun restrictions Obama has proposed is that mentally ill persons can’t buy guns. That went nowhere.
Corbett is losing because he hasn’t solved the pension crisis. He hasn’t solved the state’s revenue problems. The gas industry bought Tom Corbett and they pollute and destroy. And they get a free ride.
Tom Wolf did self fund his campaign early on, but that is not a crime. So did Mitt Romney. So what. He has also out raised Corbett as his appeal is to the people.
Another shot Jack takes is at Common Core. Gee, having standards in education is wrong? Really. He compares it to Obamacare—a program that is working. Millions are now insured. A good thing.

Fear Mongering: is the use of fear to influence the opinions and actions of others towards some specific end. The feared object or subject is sometimes Exaggerated, and the pattern of Fear Mongering is usually one of Repetition, in order to continuously reinforce the intended effects of this Tactic.
Make note of the Fear Mongering Tactics in the latest Jack Bennett Junk Opinion article above.
(1) Gun Control
(2) Education Program “Common Core” Somehow called the Obamacare for Education.
(3) “Will law abiding citizens be turned into felons by a Wolf administration pen?”
Demagogues like Jack Bennett appeal directly to the emotions of the Poor and Uninformed, telling Lies to sir up hysteria and exploiting crises to intensify popular support for their call to action.. Stop this Madness, you are right Jack, however the madness is yours!!!

I have a relative who is always saying Obama is going to take our guns away. We have six guns at our house and in the six years Obama has been in there, we still have our six guns. Didn’t Corbett raise the gasoline tax? Come on people, forget about republican or democrats and think for yourself and look at the facts not listen to people like Bennett who always have an agenda against democrats.

jerry6 - Democrats are the best gun sales people. Every time a democrat wants to take away guns, people go out and buy more guns because ‘they’ are going to take them away.

Jensen: If you have any guns, how many have been taken from you since Obama got in office?
By blutoblutarsky, October 7, 2014 @ 11:28 AM
Nobody is planning on taking anyone’s guns. The NRA likes to make people think that when sales are looking a little bleak.
People are very easily swayed by fear.
By cartman, October 8, 2014 @ 9:23 AM
The only reason Obama has not taken guns is that he hasn’t come up with enough means or support to do so. You can bet he’s working on it.

Stoking of emotions combined with the stoking of guns is a habit with right-wingers these days!
Americans should be concerned about the careless inflammatory Rhetoric that passes for normal from the right.
We should all ask the question no one seems prepared to address: Where is the last stop on the Crazy Train? LOL
By blutoblutarsky, October 9, 2014 @ 3:28 PM
Cartman- I think he has more on his plate than coming to take our guns. Maybe you should read sickof’s post from two days ago.
By jorn jensen, October 15, 2014 @ 8:51 AM
Cartman, Obama is so lame that all there is left to do is vacation and golf. He certainly doesn’t address any ‘situations’. On guns, the fear needs to be placed with Bloomberg and his money, and the goofy, ugly woman from California - not Pelosi, the other one - don’t recall her name.
