Traffic Stoppages Planned on Route 422 for Garrett’s Ramp Bridge
Intermittent, short-term traffic stoppages are planned on Route 422 in the area of the bridge on the ramp over Route 422 as part of the Garrett’s Ramp Bridge replacement project in Manor Township, Armstrong County.
On Monday, July 27, between 7 pm and 5 am, and Tuesday, July 28, between 7 pm and 5 am, motorists can expect traffic stoppages in both eastbound and westbound directions on Route 422 to set girders in place on the Garrett’s Ramp Bridge. Normal traffic patterns are expected to resume on Wednesday, July 29, at 5 am.
Motorists should expect traffic stops and congestion in the project area. Please slow down and pay attention in the area. Please choose an alternative route to avoid delays. Remember to drive responsibly in the work zone for your safety and the safety of the workers. Pennsylvania State Police will be assisting during the closures.
This $3.9 million bridge replacement project is being constructed by Francis J. Palo and is expected to be completed in Spring 2016.
