OBIT: Ernest C. W. Jackson (Ford City)
Ernest C. W. Jackson, 79, of Ford City, died on March 23, 2011 at the Armstrong County Health Center.
He was born in Manor Township on May 27, 1931, son of Issac W. Jackson and Eliza R. (Powell) Jackson.
He served in the U.S. Navy. He retired after 30 years from P.P.G. in Ford City.
He was affiliated with the Faith United Presbyterian Church in Kittanning. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his brother, Paul G. (Dolly) Jackson of Ford City; sister Lula Oliver of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lois Toy.
It was Ernest’s wish that there be no public viewing or funeral service.
Interment will take place at Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
