Meeting Planned for Local Boaters
The Board of Directors of Allegheny River Development Corporation will be holding a public meeting at 7PM Wednesday, November
18 at Lenape Tech, 2215 Chaplin Avenue, Ford City, PA 16226.
The purpose of the meeting is to review the first year of lock operations for recreational boating on the Upper Allegheny River.
Board directors are seeking input about the successes and failings of this first recreational boating season and suggestions for improvement, will introduce the tentative schedule for 2016 and seek input and suggestions for next year, and take any suggestions for programs and projects to enhance the use of the Upper Allegheny River going forward.
Allegheny River Development Corporation is a 501-C-3, non-profit organization providing seasonal recreational boating lock operations on the Upper Allegheny River at Locks 6, 7, 8, & 9.
