Pitzer Chosen as VFW Loyalty Day Queen

Alaina Pitzer has been selected the Ford City VFW Post 4843 Loyalty Day Queen for 2015 by the Ladies Auxiliary.
She is the daughter of Cori and Frank Pitzer of Bethel Township, sister of Brooke, and granddaughter of Sandra and Richard Pitzer of Bethel Township and Clifford and the late Patricia Miller of Hempfield Township.
Alaina currently attending IUP Northpointe as a freshman majoring in Disablity Services, She works at the Villa as a hostess.
She is a Ford City graduate whose interests include running, spending time with her family, and being a Twist and Shout cheerleader who also coaches cheer and tumbling.
Alaina’s reign will include representing VFW Post 4843 at the District Convention May 2 in Hastings, participation in the Memorial Day Parade May 25 along with the local Post ceremony, Ford City Heritage Parade, Veteran’s Day activities, and various other VFW events.
A celebratory dinner will be held for her by the Ladies Auxiliary in June.
