Oberlander Elected Caucus Secretary
State Rep. Donna Oberlander (who represents part of Armstrong, Forest and all of Clarion Counties) was elected by her fellow members of the House Republican Caucus to hold the position of caucus secretary for 2015-16.
Her responsibilities will include recording all official legislative activities.
Rep. Oberlander said she was honored to be elected to the post via a news release.
“I look forward to working with the leadership team and making sure we’re going in the right direction. We’ll be focusing on job creation and lower taxes, less regulation…all those things that we’ve been working and striving for…for the past four years.”
Other regional House majority leaders include: Speaker-designee Mike Turzai (Allegheny), Majority Leader Dave Reed (Indiana) and Caucus Administrator Brian Ellis (Butler).
Oberlander has an office in Elderton Borough along Saltwork Street.
