OBIT: Stanley L. Stein
Stanley L. Stein, 72, died on July 25, 2015 at Washington Hospital.
He was born on October 6, 1942 in Latrobe, a son of Robert S. and Martha R. (Tressler) Stein.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from the R&P Coal Company and enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting houses, helping other people, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his father: Robert Stein of Van Etten, NY; his wife: Susan L. (Balentine) Stein whom he married on March 4, 1967; son: Scott A. (Heather) Stein of Kittanning; two daughters: Amy L. Cessna of Cadogan, and Jodi L. (Aidan) Izzo of New Alexandria; six grandchildren: Ty, Jessica, Jordan, Matthew, Maddie and Josie; sister: Bobbi D. (Donald) Brock, of Van Etten, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother: Kenneth B. Stein.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Monday, July 27, 2015 in the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City. A funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the funeral home with the Reverend Bruce Shannon officiating.
