Churches in Ford City came together on Saturday to hold a fund-raising “Oktoberfest” fall festival.
It was held on 11th Street and featured a buffet of some typical German cuisine as well as activities for children of all ages, music, silent auction, and 50/50 drawing.
Proceeds for the festival will be used for disaster relief.
The Ford City churches had quite a few baskets that were raffled off during their silent auction. All of the money raised at Oktoberfest is used for disaster relief.
