The Kittanning Paper had four photos submitted of homes decorated for the holiday season. We couldn’t choose which one was the best, so we are putting them online and asking for your vote. The person submitting the photo will win a $25 American Express gift card. We have extended the voting until Sunday, December 30 at 3PM. The property with the most votes will win. The winner will be announced here on Monday, 12/31. Look at each entry and then vote at the end of this page.

This house is decorated every year along Main Street (Route 66) in Ford City. You have a hard time pulling off the highway of this busy road, but you will definitely have to slow down and go by several times to experience all this display has to offer.

2043 Hobson Drive, Ford City - This property is much more than the house shown. It would take at least five photos to even start to photograph the different sections of attractions on adjoining lots to this house. It features Disney characters and many old-fashioned decorations.

281 Chechak Road, North Buffalo Township - This farm house nestled behind the barn has all the simple charm in holiday decor. The Christmas tree is positioned on the first floor left window, with lighting down the driveway to a gate near the street that is also decorated with two Santa hats on the posts. A simple elegant start is off to the left. This is simple farm decorating at its best.

426 Fifth Avenue, Ford City - It’s a magical display that starts at the front of the property and extends to the back. Depending on where you stand, you can see different sections of the holiday lighting. It takes up the entire lot on a busy street.
