RONNIE came to the shelter after being confiscated during a drug bust. She lived with another dog who was blind, and they were buddies. She likes other dogs. Before coming to the shelter, Ronnie lived in a crate for six months without being taken out. Ronnie has really responded to the love and kindness she receives from the staff and volunteers. She is coming along in leaps and bounds. Ronnie is hoping to find a family to continue to show her love, understanding and be her forever family.
SMUDGE‘s family abandoned she and her brothers when they moved. She would be a good cat for a home with children. She is loving and playful. She likes dogs and other cats. She hopes to start her new year off with her new forever family. Smudge is spayed, house trained, and vaccinated.
If you might be a forever home for these or any of the hundreds of other orphans, please contact Orphans of the Storm in Rayburn Township at 724-548-4520.
Orphans of the Storm is located in Armstrong County. It was established in
1969 to provide temporary shelter for unwanted and abused animals. They match lovable animals with loving forever homes, educate the public on humane, responsible care of all animals, and promote spaying and neutering to reduce companion animal overpopulation. Orphans of the Storm is a no-kill animal shelter. This means they euthanize an animal only if it is suffering with no hope to be cured, or if the animal is a danger to people or other animals.
