OBIT: Sheila Kay “Nan” (Taylor) Long (Kittanning)
Sheila Kay “Nan” (Taylor) Long, 69 of Kittanning, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in ACMH Hospital.
She was born September 16, 1946 in Kittanning to George and Cleo (Lambing) Taylor.
Sheila was a lifelong community resident and worked as a cashier at Falsetti’s Villa.
She was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church in Kittanning.
Sheila loved her dog “Emmie,” shopping, and doing word search puzzles, but she also loved spending time with her grandchildren and their friends.
She is survived by her two daughters: Julie Long of Sarver and Stacey (Samuel) Grantz, Jr. of Kittanning; two grandsons: Tyler Grantz and Cody Grantz - both of Kittanning; two sisters: Peggy Smith of Chicora and Beverly Kemp of Worthington; and brother Ralph (Diane) Taylor of Kittanning.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Taylor, Jr.; sister, Barbara Mauthe; and companion Dale Boarts.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow - Friday, January 29, 2016 - at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
Additional visitation will be held from 10AM until the services at 11AM Saturday, January 30, 2016.
Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery.
The Rev. John W. Snyder will be officiating.
