Santa Arrives in Downtown Kittanning
Santa Claus arrived in downtown Kittanning aboard Hose Company #1’s aerial truck.
The Armstrong High School Marching Band provided music during a 15 minute parade that started at the fire department and proceeded up South Jefferson Street, turning east on to Market Street and stopping in front of the Citizen’s Bank.
Music was provided throughout the three hour event by various local ensembles and choirs. The evening concluded with an outstanding fireworks display.
Approximately 1,500 people were on hand for the event.
