Local Customers Share in Contest Winnings

Six local individuals were prize winners during last week’s contest at the Franklin Village Sears.

Eric and Vicki Scholl from Rural Valley won the grand prize of a 46” flat screen television.

Deb Denardo of Ford City won a $40 box of chocolates from Gardner’s Candies.

Dolly Kacprowski of Kittanning won a $20 gift certificate at Big Lots.

Crawford Johnson won a $20 certificate at Sirena Pizza.

Denny Smith of New Bethlehem will be having a $20 BBQ from Big Andys while Judy Fink of Kittanning will be treating her family using a $25 gift card from McDonalds.

Local Sears Owner Dan Shaffer was pleased with the contest and said the store will hold another one before Christmas.

Meanwhile, the store this weekend will hold a “Very Merry Santa Sale” where there will be an additional 10% off everything in the store valued over $299. The promotion is only valid when using a Sears credit card. Customers also have the option to forego the 10% off and take 36 months of no interest on their purchase. Shaffer said that was a significant savings on larger purchases.

The promotion also offers 20% off all lawn and garden items and accessories including snow throwers.

Shaffer thanked his customers for making this local Sears a premier store in the Pittsburgh market.
