Woman Found After Wandering From Personal Care Home
Pennsylvania State Police in Kittanning were summoned to search for an 80-year-old female resident in Rayburn Township last night.
Police were notified shortly after 7PM that the woman walked away from the Erdley Personal Care Home and a search began of the wooded terrain around the home. A short time later, a Trooper discovered the elderly woman face down in a muddy ditch. She was found approximately 500yards from the nursing home.
EMS personnel were called to the scene to provide medical treatment. She was taken via ambulance to ACMH Hospital for further treatment. Her name was not released.
