Preliminary Hearing Held for East Franklin Man
The Kittanning Paper published last Thursday that police had a warrant for the arrest of an East Franklin Township man based on an un-updated news release sent out from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Charles A. Chemelli Jr. was wanted in connection with an assault on a 33-year-old unidentified woman from Worthington. According to his attorney, Debra Yost, Chemelli had appeared at a Preliminary Hearing the previous day on Wednesday, July 22.
The hearing was held before District Magisterial Judge Samuel Goldstrohm. According to a fax received from Yost, all charges were dismissed in the case.
