(VIDEO) Downpour and Tornado Watch Postponed Halloween Activities Yesterday

Flooding across Bear Road in West Franklin Township made the roadway impassable for a period of time following the downpour Thursday afternoon.

Local residents were caught in flood waters all over Armstrong County as mother nature dumped torrents of rain Thursday late afternoon. The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch and a strong wind warning until midnight last night. The weather conditions caused cancellation of Halloween parades and trick-or-treat activities around the county. Ford City will have their parade on Saturday, November 2 at 7PM. Kittanning will host their parade on Sunday at 6PM. Trick or Treat was rescheduled in South Buffalo Township for Saturday, between 6-8 PM.
