Volunteers continue to build a new deck on the old Iron Bridge in Rosston. The bridge had been closed after the decking became to rotted for safe travel. The bridge is part of the Armstrong Trail.
Chris Zeigler, Executive Director of the Allegheny Valley Land Trust, said that work will continue today and Thursday on the Iron Bridge in Rosston. The bridge crosses Crooked Creek where it empties into the Allegheny River. The deck on the bridge is being replaced by volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, call 724-822-7176. Volunteers will begin work at 8AM both days.
