An accident on Labor Day evening on Route 422 in Plumcreek Township sent two men to the local hospital.

Two vehicles collided Labor Day evening at the Cherry Run intersection on Route 422 in Plumcreek Township.
Pennsylvania State Police Investigator Tyco Bock stated the crash occurred at approximately 7:30 PM as a 2017 Subaru Impreza was traveling westbound on Route 422 and attempted to make a left turn onto Cherry Run Road. The driver of the vehicle was Alex Pfrogner, 30, from Kittanning. His vehicle was struck by a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by William Tarr, 58, of Cowansville, which was traveling eastbound on Route 422.
“That guy pulled right in front of me,” Tarr said on a Facebook post. “I had no nowhere to go. I had to hit him.”
Pfrogner was transported by ambulance to ACMH Hospital for evaluation of possible minor injury. Bock stated in his report that Pfrogner will be cited for the incident.
A passenger in Tarr’s vehicle, 30-year-old Logan Tarr of Kittanning, was transported to ACMH Hospital by Kittanning Hose Co. #6 EMS with an arm broken in three places.
