Police have arrested and jailed 38-year-old Jennifer Vandervort from Dayton after she allegedly stole items from the Sheetz store adjacent to the Cadet early Wednesday morning.
Pennsylvania State Police said a woman committing a retail theft at the Cadet Sheetz in Manor Township resulted in jail time.
Police were called at 3:39 AM on March 27 when they were notified that a theft had taken place.
Jennifer Renee Vandervort, 38, of Dayton, was accused of steeling merchandise from the Sheetz store.
In addition, State Police Trooper Bock stated in his report that Vandervort was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bock said that the alleged actions were a Felony Retail Theft for Vandervort.
Charges were prepared and Vandervort was taken to the Armstrong County Jail.
Bock received assistance from troopers Wietrzykowski, Elliott, and Turkalj.
