Kittanning Borough Planning Commission members are having difficulty with their organization.
For the past two months, the group has attempted to hold a legal meeting, but has not been able to get a quorum.
A meeting scheduled for last night was cancelled because it was not properly advertised in advance.
Another date has not been set at this time for the next meeting.
The committee members include Mike Rizzo, Gary Stover, Jayne Koster, Michael Johnston, Sean Walker, Jerry Cable, Alan “Butch” Puccetti, and Ronald Ruffaner. There is one vacancy.
There has been discussion on reducing the number of committee members from nine to five to make it easier to have a quorum. The change would require borough council action, Solicitor Ty Heller said.
