Rebecca Pennington, a first-year student at Chatham University from Petrolia (Karns City High School) was named the PAC Runner of the Week. Pennington raced to a third-place individual finish at Saturday’s Allegheny Classic. She covered the three-mile course in 18 minutes, 31 seconds (6:10/mile) and was the PAC’s top finisher in the 116-runner field. Chatham finished sixth at the seven-team event. Pennington and the rest of the Cougars are back in action this Saturday at the Waynesburg Invitational.
