Ford City VFW Post 4843 has recognized four Divine Redeemer Students with gift cards for their local placement in the 2017-18 Patriot’s Pen Essay, “America’s Gift to My Generation”. This essay of no more than 400 typewritten words was judged on Knowledge of theme, Development of theme, and Clarity of ideas. Shelby Cloak’s essay advanced to district level judging.
