Two Armstrong Volleyball Players Named to All-WPIAL

The Armstrong River Hawks girls varsity volleyball team had another successful season after posting a 13-3 overall record and 11-1 in conference earning their co-section champion title (split with Oakland Catholic) and with their team success two girls have earned high honors from the WPIAL.
Kenzie Lasher was given All-WPIAL second team honors in the WPIAL Class 4A division while Abbey DiGregorio was named to the Class 4A All-WPIAL third team. Kenzie lead the River Hawks in kills while Abbey DiGregorio lead the team in assists.
Both girls now hope to continue their volleyball success on the basketball court this season as they prepare for the tip-off tournament at Armstrong on December 8.
