Armstrong Varsity Volleyball Gets Knocked Out of the Playoffs

The co-section champion Armstrong River Hawks varsity volleyball team hosted and won their first round match-up 3-0 against Shaler Area, but on Tuesday the girls were knocked out of the playoffs by Hempfield. The game was played at a neutral site (Norwin). The River Hawks would lose the match-up 3-1 after winning the first set 25-13. Kenzie Lasher finished the match with 13 kills and 14 digs, Abbey DiGregorio finished with 30 assists, and Ali Bowers finished with 10 digs.
