Alleged Drug Offender Arraigned in Court

A Ford City man found unconscious during Labor Day Weekend was arraigned in open court Monday on more than a half-dozen drug possession charges.

According to Ford City Borough Police, Steven Wolfe, Jr. - 27 - found unconscious at a Pleasant View Drive home the morning of September 2. Kittanning emergency medical responders administered the prescription overdose-reversal drug Narcan and Wolfe was reactive before being transported to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township.

Police allegedly found one hypodermic needle, three spoons with black residue and two open stamp bags with the logo “the cure” in close proximity to Wolfe in the home’s living room.

Police also found eight unopened stamp bags - also with a pink “the cure” logo.

Wolfe, Jr. awaits a preliminary hearing before District Magisterial Judge Gary DeComo on a dozen misdemeanor charges - including eight for possession of a controlled substance and four for drug use.

Wolfe, Jr. is currently incarcerated in the Armstrong County Jail on those charges and for two bench warrants. Bail is set at $10,000.
