West Shamokin Defeats Saltsburg 20-0

The West Shamokin Wolves (4-3) celebrated Homecoming with a win as they were able to get back into the win column, defeating the Saltsburg Trojans (2-5) 20-0.

The Wovles were able to jump out to an early first quarter lead when Devin Fairman rushed for a 9-yard score, giving West Shamokin a 6-0 lead.

West Shamokin ended the game with 403 total rushing yards and three touchdowns thanks to three 100 yard rushers in Devin Fairman (130 yards 2 TDs), Jacob Szul (103 yards 1 TD), and Dan Goldstrohm (115 yards).

Defensively the Wolves intercepted the Trojans three times - twice by Devin Fairman and once by Aaron Gray.

West Shamokin will travel to Homer-Center (6-1) this Friday.
