Armstrong Defeats Latrobe 69-16

Another week and another win for the Armstrong River Hawks as they improve to 6-1 on the season defeating the Latrobe Wildcats (0-6) 69-16.

After breaking the WPIAL record last week for rushing yards in a game, Zane Dudek broke another record. Dudek is the new WPIAL all-time single-season rushing leader with 2,202 yards (previously 2,149). Dudek also became the fifth rusher in WPIAL history to rush for 6,000 or more career yards.

The River Hawks scored 56 points in the first half as they outscored the Wildcats 56-10 in the first half.

The River Hawks will face off against a tough opponent in Penn-Trafford (5-2). Kick-off is set for 7:00 PM.
