“Creepy Clowns” Not Found in Armstrong Neighborhoods
Although Kittanning Borough Police have responded to five reports of clown vandalism or sightings, Kittanning Borough Police Chief Bruce Mathews said no violent acts have been found. A similar report was substantiated by Pennsylvania State Police officials last week as well.

State and local police officials aim to ease the minds of parents and students regarding “creepy clowns.”
Kittanning Borough Police have responded to several reported sightings, Borough Police Chief Bruce Mathews, but no clown vandalism has been found locally. Only juveniles playing clown “Halloween pranks” have been confirmed.
“There have been no confirmed incidents of any clown incidents involving any acts of violence,” Chief Mathews said. “I’ve received numerous calls from different organizations, the schools, looking for confirmation. Social media is just with this, and the younger kids are really taking this to heart.”
Such an example would be a elementary girl Chief Mathews spoke with personally following Council President Kim Fox’s phone call.
“That’s not too far from my neighborhood, and I know a lot of the kids. That’s a great benefit for residing here – this is my home too, so I get to build a lot of good rapports because I have constant interaction with them,” Chief Mathews said.
Fox thanked Chief Mathews for going “above and beyond” with the student to address the issue.
Similar calls have been handled by other local departments, as well as by Pennsylvania State Police troopers, but those reports also were found to be “extremely” over exaggerated. Officers even were able to make a traffic stop based on information received, but the claims remained false.
Pennsylvania State Police confirmed last week in a community awareness bulletin that “there are no known threats to schools in Pennsylvania
“This isn’t Chicago – this isn’t Detroit. There haven’t been any acts of terror or violence with this,” Chief Mathews reiterated.
According to State Police and national news outlets, at least 12 people have even been arrested for making false reports of clown threats or chases.
Chief Mathews was worried about possible copycat clowns later this month.
Mayor Kirk Atwood declared trick or treating would be held from 6-8PM Wednesday, Oct. 26, with the annual parade the next evening at 7PM.

This statement tells me all I need to Know about Mathews!!
I don’t remember any acts by terrorists in Chicago or Detroit lately, two predominantly African-American cities, so, why the reference? Could have easily said this isn’t Pittsburgh or the City!

Since August, people in upstate New York and in states including South Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Georgia have reported scary or suspicious incidents involving people dressed as clowns. CBS News Oct.4, 2016

Lowfat, Opinions vary! It’s Sarcasm! No slack needed! Out of the 36 cities with this kind of activity Chi-town and the Motor City come to the forefront of the Chief’s Mind? That’s Creepy!
With the high percentage of African Americans in these two Cities, why these two out of the 36 other Cities, understand? The Mind Set!
One of the big Issues of today, the extrajudicial killings of Black people by police and vigilantes. So, again I say, out of the 36 Cities with this Kind of activity, why would these to Cities come to the Forefront of the Chief’s Mind?

Sports figures are saying they want Trump to stop saying it was locker room talk when he spewed the disgusting things he bragged about what he can do to women.

The clown craze started in South Carolina. There’s just a lot of copycats out there.
Maybe Trump will dress as a clown at the next debate to scare us all. But…he really doesn’t need to wear a clown suit to scare people.
