West Shamokin Suffers Tough Loss to Ligonier Valley

The West Shamokin Wolves (3-3) varsity football team were riding a three game winning streak heading into Ligonier Valley (6-0) Friday, but were unable to extend the streak as they fell to the Rams 60-6.

It was a tough game for West Shamokin. The Wolves were held off the scoreboard until the second quarter, and at that point West Shamokin was already down 26-0.

The second quarter passing touchdown from Devin Fairman to Aaron Gray would be the only West Shamokin score.

The Wolves will hope to bounce back this Friday when they host the 2-4 Saltsburg Trojans.
