West Shamokin VS Blairsville: Quick Recap

The West Shamokin Wolves went up against the Blairsville Bobcats on Friday August 26th at Memorial Field in Blairsville.

The Wolves fell to the Bobcats by a final score of 28-18.

West Shamokin was able to fight back in the second half. After being down 28-0 heading into half-time the Wolves.

Wolves Head Coach Jon McCullough was able to talk to WTYM commentator Jake DeLuca after the game and he shared some insight.

One of the players who was able to step it up in the second half and may have provided the spark to get back into the game was Senior Tight End and Outside Linebacker, Aaron Gray.

Gray explained his pick six, forced fumble and more.

Quarterback Devin Fairman went 7/15 on the game for 81 yards and scored two touchdowns; one rushing and one passing.

Jacob Szul went on to rack up 63 yards on the ground as well as scoring a receiving touchdown on a beautiful throw by Fairman.

West Shamokin will be away again next week as they face off against Penns Manor.
