Kittanning Holds Annual Halloween Parade
Ghost, goblins, mystical creatures, and dinosaurs were let loose last night to roam the street in downtown Kittanning.
Kittanning Hose Company #1 sponsored its annual Halloween parade. With temperatures in the mid 40s, approximately 100 participants joined fire companies from Rayburn, East Franklin and West Kittanning as well as all three Kittanning fire departments to march from north on Jefferson, east on Arch, south on McKean, west on Market and south on Jefferson - back to the Hose Company #1 station.
This is the 86th year that Hose Company #1 has sponsored the Halloween parade.

The Armstrong River Hawks Marching Band played along Market Street dressed in Halloween attire during last night’s parade in Kittanning.
