Senator White’s Bill Promoting Organ Donation Sent to Governor
The House of Representatives gave final legislative approval last Wednesday (December 2) to a bill introduced by Senator Don White intended to promote organ donation efforts and donor designations on Pennsylvania driver’s licenses and identification cards.
Senate Bill 398 would redesign driver’s license and identification card applications to include the statement “Pennsylvania strongly supports organ and tissue donation because of its life-saving and life-enhancing opportunities” and the question “Do you wish to have organ donor designation printed on your driver’s license?”
The bill now goes to the Governor for his signature and enactment into law.
“I appreciate the support of my colleagues in the Senate and House in moving this bill to the Governor,” said Senator White. “I sincerely hope this will lead people to seriously consider organ donation and help save lives.”
According to the Donate Life America website, more than 117,000 men, women and children currently need organ transplants. Every 10 minutes another name is added to the national organ transplant waiting list and an average of 18 people die each day due to the lack of available organs for transplant.
While 90 percent of Americans say they support donation, only about half of eligible Pennsylvanians have organ donation designated on their driver’s license.

I wrote that I don’t like the word “retarded,” either. I don’t like “idiot” or “moron,” as well. SO I am defending it’s use? You “Conservatives” look too deeply into things and make mountains out of molehills to avoid the real issues.
“Retard” means 1. to slow up esp. by preventing or hindering advance or accomplishment : impede (what I am guessing jd718 meant by “Tardicans” because Republicans have a tendency to not accept change or advancement).
2. to delay academic progress by failure to promote
A second definition of “retard” is: 1. a holding back or slowing down 2. a retarded person; also: a person held to resemble a retarded person in behavior — often taken to be offensive.
Keep wasting your time and energy on this, liberal haters. You serve no purpose but to aggravate and to show how truly “intelligent” you are.

Ok, so you’re saying racist comments and the word “tard” are very similar in their level of acceptability in every day life. I have to ask where you were when Jorn was making those racist comments? Where was this same level of outrage?

Obviously you took the same debate classes as Marc and others. You cannot EVER make a point, without belittling the opposition. I always thought this was a HUGE indicator of weakness of a position, personally. Sadly, even when you do have a valid point, the unnecessary elementary-level banter that proceeds the point renders the entire offering meaningless. You should work on this to have your comments taken seriously.

Trump goes on about imigrants and his family is full of them. His mother came here from Scotland. This wife number three came from Slovenia and was here for 20 years before becoming a citizen. Another one of his wives came from Czechoslovica and married an Austrian ski instructor to get a foreign pass port. She was here eleven years before becoming a citizen. This guy reminds me of someone who constantly makes comments about liberals on this site. Full of himself and won’t look in a mirror

I have never seen such a fake persona, ever, than Hillary Clinton. Trump called the Clintons out and she laughed it off with some high handed commentary. I still don’t think her illegal emails, obstruction of justice, and failure to comply with a court order are laughing matters though. Anyone reading this comment would be doing so from the prison library if they had done what Hillary did.

Funny that you want to correct the term “handicapped” then go on to justify the word “tard”. Can you be any more hypocritical ?
