Evalyeen June (McClanahan) Green, 73, of Ford Cliff, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016 in ACMH Hospital.
She was born Aug. 25, 1942 in Rural Valley to Robert E. and Leola A. (Walter) McClanahan. Evalyeen worked as a medical secretary. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting, sewing, and crossstitching.
She was a lifelong resident of Armstrong County. Survivors include one son, Todd (Nicole) Green of Cowansville; two sisters, Bonnie (John) Jordan of Dayton and Audrey (Wilmer) Goldstrohm of Kittanning; two sisters-in-law, Joan McClanahan of Chicora and Florence McClanahan of Girard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert F. McClanahan and Theodore L. McClanahan; and two sisters, Genevieve Sybert and Lawana Baptiste.
A private service will be held at the family’s convenience. Interment will be in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
