Madison Township Road Closed This Week
Beginning at 8AM, Route 1004 (Madison Road) between Rimer Road and Poseytown Road will close for the replacement of a crosspipe.
According to PennDOT officials, the pipe suffered severe damage and is in need of immediate repairs due to heavy rains this summer. No detour will be in place.
Emergency responders will have access through Rails to Trails.
The road is expected to reopen by the end of the week.
