Kittanning Man Accused of Assault, Shooting at Brother

Anthony Parrotta, 23, was incarcerated in the Armstrong County Jail following a domestic incident early yesterday morning and after shooting at Crissman’s Jeep Wrangler three times.

Early yesterday morning, State Police apprehended a man who they said shot at a vehicle after a domestic incident.

Anthony Parrotta, 23, fought with Courtney Crissman, 25, at their North Buffalo Township residence before leaving the residence.

A few hours later, Crissman’s brother, Blake Crissman, arranged to meet Parrotta at the Union Baptist Church in North Buffalo Township. Once he arrived in his Jeep Wrangler, however, Parrotta shot three rounds at the vehicle with a large caliber pistol.

Crissman was not injured by gunfire.

Parrotta was taken into custody, and is charged with aggravated assault, carrying the weapon without a license, shooting into an occupied vehicle, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief.

Parrotta is currently incarcerated in the Armstrong County Jail on $20,000 bond.
