Driver Not Seriously Hurt in Saturday Accident

An Indiana man escaped serious injury during an accident last Saturday shortly before Noon in Plumcreek Township.

State Police report that 25-year-old Christopher H. Guter was driving on Cherry Run Road in Plumcreek Township. At the intersection of Cherry Run Road and Pyra Road, he was attempting to negotiate a curve when he lost his brakes in his 2008 Honda Civic. The vehicle collided with a concrete wall of a bridge that ran over a stream.

Guter sustained only minor injuries and was not transported to any hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

His vehicle was towed from the scene by Mohney’s Towing.

State Police were assisted by personnel from Citizens Ambulance Service and the Elderton Fire Department.
