OBIT: Olga M. Bootmann (Kittanning)
Olga M. Bootmann, 96, of Kittanning, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Armstrong County Health Center.
She was born October 21, 1918, in Alburg, Vertmont to Henry W. and Dora A. (Young) Durant.
Olga was a retired seamstress at Hiland Dry Cleaners in West Kittanning. She loved to sew and was an avid reader.
Olga is survived by her sister, Betty Jean Bickford, of Lake Placid, N.Y.; godson, Shawn Smith (Kimberly), of Rural Valley, and their two children: Tori and Dakota Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald G. Bootmann, in January, 1978; brother, Loren P. Durant; and sister, Erma Durant.
Services will be private and are entrusted to the Kennedy and Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning.
