OBIT: Willavene “Willie” J. (Lasher) Daugherty (formerly of Kittanning)
Willavene “Willie” J. (Lasher) Daugherty, 86, of Charleston, West Virginia, - formerly of Kittanning - died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, in Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
She was born June 6, 1928 to Clifford Lasher and Sarah (Gray) Lasher.
Willie was a homemaker, and of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by her three children: two sons - Mike (Joyce) Daugherty, of Morgantown, West Virginia and Doug (Michelle) Daugherty, of Hurricane, West Virginia and daughter, Sally Mullins, of Charleston; and five grandchildren: Emily, Carrie, David, Philip and Sarah.
Willie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth R. Daugherty; daughter, Jane; and son-in-law, Curt.
Friends will be received from 1-2PM tomorrow - Saturday, June 6, 2015 - at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian, PA.
The funeral service will follow, with her church pastor - Rev. Arlyn Eisenbrandt - officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville has been entrusted with the services.
