OBIT: Armintra Pearl (Foster) Davis (Cowansville)
Arminta Pearl (Foster) Davis, 95, of Cowansville, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at home surrounded by family and friends.
She was born September 22, 1919, in Kittanning to Charles and Pearl (French) Davis.
A lifelong community resident, Armintra was a waitress for 30 years of Summit Diner and a member of Sherrett United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed square dancing, Bingo, baking and loved to cook. Armintra was known for her delicious creampuffs, pies and creamy fudge throughout the neighborhood.
Armintra is survived by her two daughters: Wanda (James) Judge of Cowansville, and JoAnn (Donald) Long of Cowansville; granddaughter, Saundra Judge (and fiance Jason McCloskey) of Camp Hill.
Armintra was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Davis; and five brothers and sisters: Thomas Foster, James Foster, Kenneth Foster, Katherine Foster and Nannie Foster Gray.
Friends will be received from 2- 4 and 7- 9PM tomorrow – Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville.
Additional visitation will be available from 12:30- 1:30PM Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the funeral home before funeral services.
The Rev. Debbie Marshall will officiate.
Interment will be in Sherrett Cemetery.
