OBIT: Vicki Lynn Evans (Kittanning)

Vicki Lynn Evans, 59 of Kittanning died Monday, April 16, 2012 at her home.

She was born August 15, 1952 in Kittanning to James E. and Anges M. (French) Evans.

Vicki was a lifetime community resident and worked as an aide at the former Kittanning Hospital and a special needs aide for the Armstrong School District.

Vicki loved spending time with her family and enjoyed baking, cooking, planting tomato plants and animals.

She is survived by son, Chad and daughter-in-law, Ricki Evans of Kittanning; sister, Joyce (John) Law of Ford Cliff; twin sister, Vivion (Jim) Lasher of Kittanning; several nieces and nephews; and puppy, Turk.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: James L. and John L. Evans; two nephews: Terry A. Bish, Jr. and Larry James Lasher, Jr.; sister-in-law, Connie Evans; and fiancé, Frank Atherton.

Friends will be received from 7-9PM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 and from 2-4 and 6-9PM Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.

Services will be held at 11AM Friday, April 20 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Krause officiating.
