OBIT: Elisabeth Schaub (Kittanning)
Elisabeth Schaub, 93 of Kittanning, died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Armstrong County Health Center.
She was born January 27, 1922 in Nurnberg, Germany to George and Lucy Klept.
Elisabeth worked on the railroad in Germany, at Clark’s Restaurant, at Big River Manufacturing and MTW in Kittanning.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kittanning, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering and making tablecloths.
Elisabeth was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Russell Charles Clouse; second husband, Charles “Chuck” Schaub; and brother, Heinrich Klepf.
Friends will be received from 11AM until the time of funeral services at noon tomorrow - Saturday, April 11, 2015 - at the Kennedy and Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning.
The Rev. Dana Wilmot will be officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orphans of the Storm animal shelter.
