“Banshee” Casting Coming to Vandergrift Next Week
The fourth season of a cable action-drama television series is coming close to the Armstrong County border.
Nancy Mosser Casting - based in Pittsburgh - announced yesterday that they are seeking extras, stand-ins and photo doubles for Season Four of the Cinemax television show “Banshee.”
Character types for the show - which was renewed for an eight-episode season in February - are asked to go to the Casino Theatre along Lincoln Avenue in Vandergrift from 4-8PM Monday, April 13. Parking is free.
Filming will predominantly be in the Vandergrift (Westmoreland County) area during the season since the show is based in Pennsylvania Amish country.
In addition to needing regular townspeople, press types and those with a police background bearded men, people with visible piercings who are heavily tattooed, goth/punk types and men with shaved heads are encouraged to attend.
Those already on file with the casting agency do not need to attend, since agents will be registering participants and having photos taken.
Free profiles can also be made online at www.mossercasting.com under ‘talent registration.’
