Two Allegedly Steal Kittanning Man’s Weapons

One of the accused, Alexandria Harmon of Kittanning.

A Kittanning woman and a Shelocta man are both in the Armstrong County Jail this week after allegedly stealing an elderly Kittanning man’s weapons from his home in September.

Alexandra Harmon, 24 is accused of stealing a Mossberg Western Field 12-gauge shotgun and Revelation Model 105 .22 caliber bolt rifle – both a combined value of $120 – from Rodney Livengood, 78 of Kittanning – who she was residing with.

The weapons were then taken to Daniel Frye, 34, of Shelocta – who made arrangements for his father to purchase the two stolen guns without knowledge of the original owner.

Harmon and Frye allegedly then used $60 received from the sale toward the purchase of heroin.

Both guns were recovered by State Trooper Timothy Amy at the Kittanning State Police barracks.

Both Harmon and Frye were arraigned Thursday, October 23 by District Magisterial Judge Gary DeComo on three different felony offenses: two counts of theft by unlawful taking, two counts of receiving stolen property and a charge of criminal conspiracy.

They are held in the Armstrong County Jail on $20,000 monetary bond.
