OBIT: Robert Dean Henry (Ford City)

Robert Dean Henry, 78 of Ford City, died Monday, November 3, 2014 at ACMH.

He was born November 20, 1935 in Ford City to Dean and Vera (Walker) Henry.

Robert worked at the former Dwner Henry’s Exxon in Kittanning and retired from Kittanning Builder’s Supply and Local #952.

A member of Crooked Creek Presbyterian Church, Robert enjoyed hunting trips to Colorado, bass fishing in Florida, spending lots of time in Florida with family, watching his grandson, Matt, play sports and his granddaughters in cheerleading.

Nothing was more special than his two great-granddaughters: Adalie and Julia, and his puppy “Macy”.

Robert is survived by his wife of 56 wonderful years, Peggy Boylstein Henry; daughter, Lisa (Tim) Shaffer of Ford City; three grandchildren: Lonya (Andy) Bartosiewicz, Matthew Robert Shaffer and Chelsea M. Shaffer and fiance Tyler Baum; two great-grandchildren: Adalie and Julia; sister, Delores (Robert) Frank of Ford City; and sister and brother in-law, Frank and Cathy Notto.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow - Wednesday, November 5, 2014 - at the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the funeral home, with Pastor Laurie Milligan officiating.

Interment will be in Crooked Creek Presbyterian Cemetery.
