OBIT: Christine L. Boarts (Hubbard, OH)

Christine L. (Augustine) Boarts, 68, of Hubbard, OH, passed away Sunday October 26, 2014 at Northside Medical Center.

She was born on October 11, 1946 in Kittanning, a daughter of John S. & Emma (Gowetski) Augustine.

She was a very active member at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, a devoted companion to many people in their time of need and a Cosmetologist for over 50 years.

She will be sadly missed by her family; her husband Ronald L. Boarts whom she married January 18, 1969; and her children Kevin (Kitty) Boarts of Wisconsin; Greta (Daniel) Barninger of Youngstown; Jennifer (Kevin) Hallden of Glendale, Arizona; and her granddaughter Emily Claire Barninger.

She also leaves her siblings; John Augustine of Ford City.; Audrey (Fred) Gatesman of Largo, Florida; Paul (Dorothy) Augustine of Curwensville, PA.; James (Jean) Augustine of Jacksonville, FL.

Her parents preceded her in death.

There will be calling hours on Wednesday October 29, 2014 at 2PM, immediately followed by a Memorial Mass at 3PM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard. Christine will be laid to rest at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Ford City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the donor’s favorite charity.
