OBIT: Gary S. Hartman (Kittanning)
Gary S. “Rabbi” Hartman, 75, of Kittanning died Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born August 27, 1939 in Parker.
Gary was retired from Pullman Standard of Butler and also worked for Kittanning Borough. He was a member of the Kittanning Eagles and the Eagles Dart Team and was a former member of both the Kittanning VFW and the Kittanning Mens Club..
He loved to play pool, watch Nascar and western movies.
Surviving are his fiance, Peggy Orton of Kittanning, step children, James (Marilyn) Iseman of NH, Donna Amant of Ford City, Sandy Pressley of Kittanning, Robin (Smitn) Davignon of Kittanning and Harvey Smith, Jr. of Kittanning, 15 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and his dog, Cheeka.
Friends will be welcomed at the at the Welch Funeral Home in Ford City on Tuesday June 30, 2015. from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11AM with Cory Grywinski officiating. Interment will follow in the Ford City Cemetery.
